Thanks for getting in touch and we are delighted that you are interested in joining the 50:50 Group as this important juncture in our political history. I will be in touch with you separately by email to put you in touch with our Dublin branch.

As a member of the Dublin North West Constituency of the Labour party with an interest in the dearth of female representatives in Dáil Éireann in the 21st century I would like to join your group.
Greatly disillusioned in the month of March to see a cabinet comprised of men I wondered what lies ahead for our daughters, women were in fact making greater strides in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The ‘week that was’, however, has inspired me and restored some confidence in the power and ability of women in politics. Two extrardinary women lead the way forward engendering a new relationship between our two islands.
This has reignited my interest in what your organisation proposes and it is with this in mind I would like to be considered for membership.
I Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks Caroline that’s an excellent letter by Angelina Cox. I hope it has inspied others to write to party leaders to commit to change
Thanks Mary, we’ll connect with Lucy. Spread the word
Check out my friend Lucys blog (Dreamin Aloud), she also on Twitter. She just blogged on this subject – not sure how to link her to you bur I’ll let her know
